Saw the Doctor today and well, guess I should be a bit concerned over last week’s episode or so it seems. While the blood pressure is good, the incident seems to have him a bit worried. Blood work for Tuesday and a CAT scan this week.
Joked that the scan might take 6 months or so and he got very angry saying No Bloody Way. Kind of scared me actually at how vehment he was and said he was putting it on a priority list. He figures last week was more likely a mild stroke than the blood sugar going out of whack. Either way though it certainly tends to give a person a jolt.
Now the big question is going to be, what happens next?
I suppose some might totally shut down. I mean its a good bet I’ll be a lot more careful of things and pay more attention to the sugar content than I have the last few years. Still will it change how I do things?

I need to control my anger better and not let idiots like Maxpower on a gay webmaster board get the bile rising. or for that matter let things like his pontification and know it all attitude get to me. I just need to accept that these are morons & in this world even they have their place in society.
Like the idiots who are so pissed at electronic voting that they want to boycott them. Now I know that your vote may be screwed up or even disregarded by some of these machines. After all if they were foolproof there wouldn’t be an endless stream of Spam now would there? So yeah I can see how it can piss a person off, but I know that if you don’t vote, well, you have ZERO say in things.
See the way I look at it is this. If you Vote at least you now have a real chance of your vote actually being counted right, of being heard. If you DON’T VOTE on the other hand, you have no such chance. So it kind of makes simple common sense.
IF you are pissed off, register your choice by voting for the other guy. Hell if enough do, you might actually see a Congressman or Senator representing the Green or Reform or LIbertarian parties instead of the same tired old reactionary Democrat or Republican groups.
Just my opinion though.
A flag burning party? Huh?
Well the other day the US Senate by one vote fell short of making flag burning illegal. I mean it was such a pressing issue to. After all when was the last time you were out walking the dog and some ruffian was off burning Old Glory on the street?

Seems to me that there are far more important issues to be debating than whether or not one’s freedom of speech should be restricted further or not, but hey, me not an American…. Thank God!
Still amazes me how so many get sucked in on this patriotic bullshit from Bush and his religious buddies. Like today some anti abortion Priest is bitching about Buffett giving away Billions to Charities. Like the guy made his cash, its his choice on who to give it to, just cause he supports a woman’s right of choice is no reason to compare him to a nazi.
Now the US Congress has also censored the NY Times for running a story about the Feds tracking finances of US Citizens in the name of terror. So like this is a surpise? Course the LA Times and US Today weren’t singled out even though they also ran the same story. So let me see, Free Press only applies when it favors Bush & Co?
Like this is Democracy?
Funny isn’t it, here we have George Bush pushing to wage a holy war to bring Democracy American Style to all us poor sub standard nations and yet this is also the same man who thinks he can run tribunals without laws, without clear protection of a person’s rights simply becuase they are terrorists in his mind.
Odd that in the same breath he also talks about God and his mission to bring real peace and democracy while at the same time demanding consititutional amendments to stop people from enjoying equal rights or the right of free speech.
Second thought, not so odd. After all isn’t that what Hitler wanted too? To order the world according to his idea of what it should be?
So back to the flag burning. Why isn’t there more citizens out in the streets today protesting? After all the generation that did it are also the one’s now in power. Kind of makes you wonder doesn’t it. If some President like Nixon or Johnson had wanted to prevent people from burning flags, the streets would be full of irate citizens doing just that. Protesting.
Funny, now they are in power and not a peep.
One of the major knocks against Gays is that they feed off the young, that they have a secret agenda that entails perverting the young to swing their way and only their way. In some cases there may indeed be justification for this but in reality it is just so much hogwash.
Guys are attracted to youth, but you know what, so are women. Problem is that the world is governed by men and so when a man is attracted to a younger woman, he’s a stud, but if a woman seeks a younger man she is a tramp. Now if a gay guy wants something young, well it’s a plot to pervert the Youth of America or so mainstream America believes.
Talk about a double standard here.

Nice tongue in Cheek remark and I certainly won’t argue it. After all my wife or partner is about to be 29 this October while I will be 52 come April. So yep I can accept that comment but the question is why can’t you?
It isn’t just Gay men who are obsessed with youth but America itself. Look at television and the commercials. How many are about new skin defiers, wrinkle removers, and so on? Think about it, and tell me that society isn’t about looking younger.
Thing is we go for younger men to feel younger ourselves. It is part of being a man, of attempting to recapture our own youth. And when did that become evil and perverted?
All through history there is mention of people seeking the Fountain of Youth, of trying to regain one’s youth by having youthful looks or brides. Hell isn’t it even in the Bible itself? Men become Men at 13 and women women when? 12? Funny isn’t it, that those who shout the loudest about our perversion are also the same ones who preach about 3 comments in the bible about gays yet ignore the thousands of mentions about adultry.
Wake Up America. We are exactly like you and perhaps that is what scares you the most. We aren’t freaks or deviants. Homosexuals are simply those who prefer their own gender so get over it.
