Watched his Situation Room show today and I have to really wonder if this guy is on something or lost a few brain cells really. I mean ‘Breaking News’ comes out of his mouth every two seconds it seems, and it isn’t like it just happened either. I mean he’s reporting when the day is over in Israel but hey, doesn’t stop him and his counterparts from blowing their horn about so called “Breaking News” which really is nothing more than a hook to keep people watching or get them to watch.
In short, to sell more Advertising! Like I always figured the news channels were to REPORT NEWS not SELL CIALIS!
Fact is that there is news from the Middle East and I just don’t think many in the West understand things. Given how they get their info from a group of self serving advertising salesmen masquerading as news anchors, I guess one can’t blame them too much. Though you would kind of wonder.
I guess that in my article ‘They’ll Love Us When We Win’ is perhaps bang on. Seems that for some insane reason Americans have this need to tell everyone else what to do and how it is best for them, whether they want it or not. Today’s so called news is just one more example.
Let’s get real here. There are lots of civilian casualities in Lebanon despite REPEATED WARNINGS from Israel and if Civilians weren’t living among Hezbollah, well they wouldn’t be at risk now would they? Somehow that little fact keeps getting short change among the constant whining about the poor civilian casualities, not to mention the scorecard reporting as well.
Fact is, any innocent death is horrid, and yet it is indeed a simple fact of war, the innocent suffer more than those doing the fighting, yet somehow Wolf Blitzer and CNN make it out like it is only the Lebanese doing the dying and suffering. Excuse me, but Israel has been under 58 years of threat of annihilation, not injury, but TOTAL DESTRUCTION. From Yassar Arafat, the Grand Mufti (in 1948) to Saadam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden and on the words have been, that Israel needs to be destroyed to the last Jew.
Why does Wolf Blitzer and CNN forget that simple FACT? Are they afraid they won’t sell enough Cialis if people know that simple fact. In ‘Consider This’ I think it is very clear, that for 58 years Israel has been forced to defend itself from almost daily attacks and only through a robust and determined defence force, has it managed to survive as a nation and to limit the actual lives lost.
Listening to Wolf Blitzer is like listening to a broken record. He really shouldn’t be in front of the camera any more. He’s too self serving and annoying. He speculates and asks some of the stupidest questions next to Larry King than any other.
Does Israel make mistakes? Sure do, one of which was not to have gone after Hezbollah a darn site sooner and with more troops than it has now. Fact is unlike what CNN and Wolf Boy have stated ad naseum, Israel struck at a building suspected of housing a Hezbollah recruiter, they did not attack the refugee camp that is know for housing terrorists, but a building. Somehow CNN has Israel attacking the whole camp, once more showing how they manipulate the news and people’s initial reactions.
Give Wolf and his boys a gun and let them go after the poor innocent Hezbollah troops. Wonder who will win? Think Wolf and company will still call Hezbollah a legitimate governing party or will they suddenly see them for what they are? TERRORISTS!
Odd but you hardly hear a word of how hard Israel is trying to limit any civilian casualties, yet at the same time Hezbollah and its supporters jump with glee with every innocent Israel Civilian Casuality. Rather interesting to note how that isn’t shown with the same sadness that the latest Lebanese death evokes from Wolf and his cohorts.
Anti Sematism is alive and well on CNN & elsewhere. Hitler would be so happy.
