The Boycott Bandwagon

I wonder if perhaps those who lead the Religious Right or as I prefer to call them, the New Axis of Evil, can explain to me how GOD is happy at them for promoting nothing but hatred and racism? Would seem to me that any organization calling itself the American Family Association would be about inclusion and true honest values such as love, compassion, charity and not hatred. So maybe they can explain to me why I am such a threat to them and their way of life?

Could it be because I won’t hide in the closet anymore?

Does it really scare them that somehow my life will show them that GOD isnt a tyrant, that HE isn’t evil and someone to FEAR? I mean that always bothers me when they describe themselves as good GOD Fearing Christians. Now why would they fear GOD?  Maybe I do know why, because they are so adamantly opposing GOD’s own plan for his children? Because they know that WE ARE HIS CHILDREN just as THEY ARE. Perhaps they fear his anger when they meet, and so they twist it around, making it sound palatable?

If it wasn’t so sad, or so dangerous I might laugh at the latest bullshit from this group of Nazis and their fake religious overtones. See, there is no way that any TRUE BELIEVER of GOD could spew hatred and venom against others as they do. Cloaking it in the dripping hypcrosicy of Family Values  and claiming it is FAITH. To now ask people who are all GOD FEARING GOOD CHRISTIANS to boycott Wal Mart because well gee, Wal Mart is promoting homosexuality by aligning itself with gay groups. ( see story )

What I don’t understand is that this association with the GLBT Chamber group ( see story ) will somehow cause for the promotion of our secret Agenda. ( I really wish the AFA would tell me what this agenda is, because I sure would like to know. My gay friends and associates haven’t a clue either, so maybe they could enlighten us all?) Now supposedly this association is going to create a wild promotion of thousands of products that promote and encourage the Gay Lifestyle.

In an email alert to its members this week the AFA says that the company is retailing hundreds of products with “pro-homosexual leanings” ( full article )

Someone want to tell me, what are pro homosexual leanings? I mean either you are gay or not, so how do you lean one way or the other? And just what is it that Wal Mart sells that will make you want to suddenly jump some hot stud’s body? I mean, tell me cause I’d like to rush out and get a gross of them to sell on my own website. I mean hell, if it works, why not?

Okay so I am being sarcastic a bit, well a lot but come on, surely these people can come up with better excuses for their racism and bigotry? Surely they can hide behind some recent Papal speech to perhaps justify their anger and hatred towards a segment of society that really doesn’t want to intrude on their narrow bigotted world. I mean they can all dance around the fire in their white sheets all they want, as long as they keep their burning crosses in their own front yard.

I am not a Wal Mart shopper or even a Ford buyer (story), but you know, I just might become one thanks to the AFA and its boycott. Now wouldn’t that frost them to see those companies corporate profits jump because of their boycott? Now that would send perhaps an interesting message all of its own to them as well as to people like George Bush and Stephen Harper, but then that would also assume that many of the so called Silent Majority had the balls to put their money up and do the right thing too.

Well I can dream I suppose.
