The highly touted and proclaimed program to ship cheap drugs to needy countries, has yet to ship a single pill. Stephen Harper has shown exactly how much he cares about preventing disease, by his inability to follow thru on the drug program for African nations. Instead of making the process simple, he has mired it in a bunch of red tape, that keeps the Drug Companies happy.
After all, they don’t have to ship anything until the ‘paper process‘ is complete, and so far, only Rwanda has begun the process to sign up.
Kind of makes you wonder if it is Corporate Profits over HEALTH, but then, that really is a no brainer. It seems that the ‘Conservative Movement‘ whether it be here in Canada or the United States isn’t about being RESPONSIBLE STEWARDS, but about STICKING IT TO WHOEVER CAN’T PAY.

With the threat of a Federal Election looming in March, one hopes the Canadian People will see through the tissue of lies that Stephen Harper and his fellow Conservatives have weaved, that their so called compassion is as phony as is their patriotism.
