The Harper Elitists cut the funding to the Montreal Gay Pride this year, just five days before the event was to begin. All the I’s and T’s were crossed, and the decision was left to the Minister, who refused to fund it. No reason given, other than there are tons of worthy tourist projects, and not enough money for them all.
One has to wonder, as to the real reason. As they organizers themselves asked, is it because they are Gay? Myself, given how Harper has acted in regards to gay rights, the answer is a resounding YES IT IS!
