Have you been following the saga of Bishop Williamson?

He’s one of the guys that Pope Benedict decided to bring back to the Catholic Fold, after being kicked out, for supposedly not adhering to the changes in the Catholic Church. Course the Bishop was pleased, so much he even went on to illuminate everyone about his Anti Semitic views, and on how the Holocaust really didn’t happen.

Long and short of it is that he was told to apology for his remarks, of which he sort of did do, but my problem, is why should he apologize? He holds those views, and having to recant them, under pressure, simply doesn’t hold water. It makes the apology more of an insult to Jews and those who died under Hitler, than the original remarks do.

Everyone is entitled to their views, and once made known, why should they be forced to bend to your will? Many think we should accept his apology, but if it isn’t sincere, doesn’t that make it a mockery? At the same time, it is his right to say those things, and the real solution is to deny him his pardon. Apology or not, he should have his pardon revoked, but the Pope seems unwilling to accept, that he screwed.

So a big rally with about a 1000 cheering fans in support, only goes to show you that gay bashing makes for good Republican Politics. Or is that Bigoted Politics?

I don’t get it, but hey that seems to be the Politics in the States, and yes, Up Here as well. I mean we do have Stephen Harper and his Gang of White Sheets so we can’t be smug about it. I simply fail to understand how these ‘bigots’ get elected, or how people can actually believe in GOD, and support such comments.

Gays a worse threat than Terrorists?

Like how many people have Gays killed? How many Gays have walked into crowded restaurants, nightclubs and detonated bombs? Hell, how many Gays are advocating an overthrow of the Government? Are we boycotting businesses because they donate money to charities, or support medical research?

And you have to love her claim that nations who supported homosexuality never lasted in history. Uh, someone want to remind her of the Greek & Roman Empires? Homosexual acts were quite normal, and even expected in Greek Society. It was required actually that Greek Men take younger men and teach them about sex, and it was part of the Spartan Regime as well.

So let me see, the Greek Society only lasted a few decades Sally?

The news isn’t good. Rates of infection for various STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) is on the rise, and a lot more in the Gay Community than in the Straight World. And while the health implications, alone, are worrisome, there is also the political backlash that these rising rates could cause. It isn’t like we are accepted by our straight brethren as it is, and remember back in the 70′s when AIDS was running wild, all the talk by Politicians and so called friends, about Quarantine for Gays?

With this being an election year, and all that is at stake, I can just see the Religious Right frothing at the mouth. To keep the White House, to regain control of Congress, this is an issue that will have them dancing for glee. It will give every Homophobic Republican a weapon to use, against the ‘Gay Friendly Democrats‘ and we all know how that will turn out.

While personally, I do not believe the Democrats are any more friendlier to Gays, or Gay Rights, than the more vocal bigoted Republicans, this could turn into another one of those ‘wedge‘ issues that Karl Rove loved so much. And guess who is helping John McCain in his bid for the White House?

And in some way, I think we have ourselves to blame for being so vulnerable to these attacks as well. While the ‘straight‘ industry is mostly condom less, you can bet your sweet ass that they will hold up every bareback video ever made, and they will be Gay Porn, not your average Straight Sex Videos. They will point to us, and call us ‘perverts‘ and ‘dangerous‘ because we do not do what we should, to mitigate the risks.

Yes, there are some studios, like Hot Desert Knights that actually do something. They test their models, not just for HIV but for STDs as well. The issue is that they are not in the majority. They are a minority among increasing Bareback Gay Porn Studios, that simply push out the stuff, irrespective of the risks to models. In addition, a lot of this comes from Eastern Europe, where there isn’t a clinic on every corner.

But the studios, no matter which one it is, is simply filling a demand, that we, the consumer are creating. If we didn’t have this yearning for bareback sex, you can bet your bottom dollar that there wouldn’t be such a proliferation of bareback sex videos. So to satisfy our desire to feel the cock, to not use Condoms, and to watch others enjoying anal sex without Condoms, we are giving the Religious Right and easy target.

Gay Bashings will continue, and the Mathew Shepard Bill will continue to languish around the halls of Congress, because no President, Republican or Democrat, will sign into law a bill that protects Gays, as the Republicans will portray us. They won’t mention, or hold up the fact that 1 in 3 cases of Gonorrhea are missed because of improper testing, but will harp on how the increase is mainly in Gays and Bisexual Males engaging in male to male sex. That will be their mantra, their Holy Grail, as they try to frighten the silent majority into once more backing them.

Do you really think Hilary Clinton will defend us? Barack Obama?

Bill Clinton sure didn’t during his 2 terms in office. If he had, maybe there wouldn’t be such a rise in STD’s either. Instead of doing what his Surgeon General recommended, he fired her instead.

This is the reality of Politics interfering with Health. This is why there is nothing but Abstinence Only Sex Education, and it is also why diseases like Syphilis are up across the board. Condoms are not fashionable, safe sex is not in vogue, but not because people are selfish, but because NO ONE KNOWS THE TRUTH. Education is about teaching, about learning, and when you deny people all sides of an issue, they aren’t being educated, but programmed.

We have programmed our society to believe that sex is somehow bad, that unless it is between a married couple. that is one male & one female, it is evil, is a sin. And like sheep, we blindly accept it, because we have allowed narrow minded bigots like George Bush and others, to brain wash us, to scare us into believing them.

Now we are reaping the results of that blind following.

Ten years ago a mother lost her son.

Tragic that any parent should have to lose a child before their time, but when that loss is due to bigotry, to hate, it is even worse. A life is snuffed out, not because of some perceived wrong, not because of some accident, but simply because they are Gay. What is worse than being killed because of being who you are? Being tortured and made to suffer before death grants you eternal peace.

Mathew Shepard was that son.

Hate Crime Legislation to this day, does not include protection of Homosexuals, because the so called man in the White House, and the so called Christian Men & Women of the United States Congress refuse to pass any such legislation. They holler about how their is no need for it, and then scream about how evil Homosexuals are, how vile, how anti God they are, further pushing people over the edge, furthering the wanton murder of innocent men and women who are simply different than they are.

A mother still cries for her loss, but she treks on. She talks to millions, meets with the famous like Elton John and even Hilary Clinton, a possible President. Yet still the legislation that bears her son’s name remains languishing in the halls of Congress, because no Elected Member has the balls, the guts, or the desire, to protect ALL AMERICANS. Because doing what is right, what is needed, isn’t what gets you elected to high office in America. Just ask Hilary Clinton, George Bush, and others.

Opponents of the hate-crimes proposal says it’s not needed because state and federal laws already outlaw violence against individuals.

The struggle goes on, and still the bigots hold sway. In some States, representatives stand up and speak about how the Gay Agenda, about the evils of being homosexual, and then spend their time denying Gays protection under the law. Many say it is simply because they really do believe the crap they spew, that Gays don’t need protection.

I disagree.

They deny the rights of Gays to be protected, in the hope that we will all succumb to the vile in society, who will do their dirty work for them. They hope that the longer they obstruct justice, that more Gays will be killed like Mathew Shepard, that there will be no Gay Voting Block to worry about, as there simply won’t be any Gays around to vote. They will either all be dead, or frightened back into the closet.

How wrong the George Bush’s & Hilary Clinton’s are. There will be no more Closets for us, nor can they exterminate us, without a fight. If Hitler taught people like Jews, like Homosexuals, anything, it was that walking into the gas chambers was never going to happen that easy again.

Arizona became the 16th state to reject federal funds for ‘Abstinence Only‘ education programs. Since its inception, the program has cost US Taxpayer’s nearly a half billion dollars, and so far studies have shown that the program is worthless. That is has no real impact on kids, and that it can actually do harm.

Like that took how many years for them to realize?

The study found that while abstinence-only efforts appear to have little positive impact, more comprehensive sex education programs were having “positive outcomes” including teenagers “delaying the initiation of sex, reducing the frequency of sex, reducing the number of sexual partners and increasing condom or contraceptive use.” (source)

Like it isn’t Rocket Science to know that telling kids not to have sex before they are married is not going to work. Teenagers love to party, to have fun and the last thing on their mind is about ‘saving themselves‘ for MR or MISS Right. It has been well proven in other countries, that only comprehensive education helps reduce sexual activity among teenagers.

It also helps reduce pregnancies and disease, but does George W. Bush and the Republicans understand that? Course not, because that would mean they actually gave a damn about people. Truth is, these programs are nothing but political payoff to a group of narrow minded bigots, that somehow took over the Republican Party.

Simple truth is, these abstinence programs were a payoff. No different than any other BRIBE.
