The Locker
The Locker is a gay coming of age novel. It happens to also be my favorite novel, well at least one of them. I really do like this particular story, and how I think it all fits together.
Now at Gay Story Online, the entire book is available for reading. There is no cost, no membership to sign up to, just the free story. It is free for you to read online, and if you want, to even comment on it.
It is perhaps even more relevant today, than when I first wrote it. While the book is fiction, anyone who reads the news will know that it is very real in its nature. It does indeed reflect our society, our homophobia. Yet, even while the book graphically depicts that fault, that flaw in society, there is hope. You see it in many places, but in the final end, it comes down to people.
Not everyone is like Mitt Romney or George Bush. So there is hope.
