The fight for equality will never end, because if it does, then equality will never be lasting. It is a constant struggle, and those who oppose it, such as the Catholic Church, the Mormons, the Republicans, do so because they are aware of what will happen if they don't keep fighting us. They will lose their power, they will lose their ability to control people and their money. Civil Rights, human liberties, exist because they are fought for, on a full time 24/7 basis. To get our rights, to keep our rights, we must continue the fight.

The Iowa court ruling is not about Gay Rights, but is about insuring the rights of everyone, to believe, to worship, as they wish. It is more about insuring that churches like the Mormons, like the Catholics, can oppose homosexuality, as being a sin, within their own Church. It says one can believe as they wish, without being denied the same civil benefits, that others enjoy. It is in fact, protecting the very rights, of those who claim it doesn't. The ruling is a victory, for religious freedom, not just that gays can marry.
