Twitter, Racists, & Life
Sad actually, to realize there are people like this in the world, who also take advantage of today’s technology. Seems that I got my first ‘racist’ to follow me on my Twitter Account. I suppose the real tip off, was seeing the Nazi symbol in those this guy is following, but even without that, it was fairly obvious.
I don’t understand what it is, that makes people hate, simply due to a color pigmentation, a religious bias, or a sexual orientation. I mean yes, I can understand hating someone for personal reasons, for them having done something, real or perceived, but an entire collection of people?
That simply doesn’t make sense to me.
With the defeat of the Same Sex Marriage bills in New Jersey & New York State, I really wonder what it is, about people who FEAR me? I know I can be intimidating at times, in person, but when you don’t even know me, why hate me, simply because I am Gay? It is irrational, and stupid too. I mean we can all learn so much from each other, from the very differences we are hating.
It certainly has been a condition, throughout the history of man, but I wonder, why we aren’t making real headway into ending such situations. I mean even with the election of Barak Obama, racism reared its head, and it makes me wonder about all this, about why so many of us are disposed to hate, for no reason.
